The Historic Vehicle Mechanic is accountable to the Senior Curator, National Motor Museum for coordinating the maintenance, upkeep and conservation of the Museum’s historic vehicle collection.

Special Conditions
Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to medical clearance, and a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working With Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is essential.

Essential Qualifications   
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent Australian recognised qualification as a motor mechanic

Requirements

Remuneration
$63,681 - $67,868

Special Notes
Please note this is a part time 0.6 FTE term/contract vacancy for up to 2 years with possibility of extension.
