The Project Manager role is responsible for delivering a number of large and/or complex asset and infrastructure projects for the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The role will manage project planning and delivery, budgets, procurement, scheduling, reporting and risk to ensure projects are coordinated and efficiently delivered throughout the regions. The position is also required to supervise staff and contractors.
The Project Manager also assists as needed with other activities including funding bid preparation and assisting with the implementation of project management practice improvements across the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
This is a pool recruitment process. Merit-selected candidates will be added to a pool which will be used to fill available positions as they arise. The location of these positions will vary, as will the term of positions, based on the specific nature of the role and the projects to be delivered.
