Job
Description:
The Senior Environmental
Information Officer directly supports the Principal Advisor,
Environmental Information and Enterprise GIS Coordinator, within
the Information Management Unit by providing corporate knowledge
management advice to SIT and DEW and represents the unit as
required at the project and program level.
The role
provides program and project management, environmental
information product development, application of corporate GIS
capabilities and environmental database development.
Ongoing
contract.
Special
Conditions:
-
May be
required to participate in fire management and associated
duties.

Current
class “C” Driver’s licence and willingness
safely operate a vehicle when required.

Inter and
intrastate and remote area travel may be required.
-
Required to
undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the
normal hours of work.
Salary:
ASO6
$92,784 minimum - $98,143 maximum p.a.
