This newly created Business Manager role is responsible for overseeing the provision of high quality and effective business, customer and corporate services functions to the Regional Operations Branch of the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). This includes functions such as financial and human resources management, work health and safety, procurement, risk management, office accommodation, information technology, and the management of physical resources.

With the support of regionally based Business Support Team Leaders, the position will manage a team of administration staff located at various regional NPWS offices.  It will work closely with regional managers and other departmental staff, including Business Managers and staff that support the remaining branches of NPWS.

Please note the role will be located in Adelaide, or may be located at a NPWS regional office by negotiation.

 

Essential Criteria

Please note that a current National Police clearance is essential (for identified Positions of Trust).

Special Conditions:

  • Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
  • Inter and intrastate and remote area travel may be required.
  • Out of hours work may be required.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and willingness to apply may be required.
  • Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.

Remuneration:

ASO6 - $92,784 - $98,143 per annum
Contract for 2 years
