Do you have skills in administration, customer service and working on events. The History Trust of SA is recruiting a Visitor Engagement Administrative Officer to join the Migration Museum, Marketing and Major Events team.
Job Description:

The Visitor Engagement Administration Officer (MM, M & ME) assists with the delivery of a highly positive experience of the History Trust of South Australia through its museums.

Key components of the role:     

  • Support the delivery of the core visitor experience at the museum.
  • Assist with the administrative needs of the museum operations and provide assistance as directed by the Visitor Engagement Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the Visitor Engagement Team.
  • Organise, modify and report on education bookings at the museum.
  • Demonstrate high standards of customer service and actively promote, encourage and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as the first point of contact for administration matters pertaining to the smooth running of the museum.
  • Provide administrative support functions to the Managers of Museums, Marketing and Major Events.

About you: You are someone with knowledge of the work of the History Trust of South Australia and has excellent administrative and customer service experience along with social media, event and excellent problem-solving skills.   


Special Conditions:

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Remuneration:

ASO2: $56,987 - $61,301
