The Senior Wildlife Keeper located at Cleland Wildlife Park is responsible for the day to day operation and direction of staff and exhibits within the animal management section. The Senior Wildlife Keeper contributes to the delivery of animal management services by assisting in the development, maintenance and co-ordination of the Parks wildlife displays, breeding programs, the care of captive native animals and the enhancement of visitor activities and education programs.

Contract up to 10 November 2023.

Special Conditions:

• A current Working with Children Check is essential.
• Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
• Some out of hours may be required.
• A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
• The incumbent will be required to wear a uniform in accordance with departmental policy.

 

Remuneration:

GSE6 - $1,140.00 min. - $1,154.00 max. per week
