About the Role:
Cleland Wildlife Park are looking for two motivated individuals that are ready to take the next step in their animal management career! The park has two exciting opportunities, one part time and one fulltime, to work as the Senior Wildlife Keeper across the sites collection. The Senior Wildlife Keeper is responsible for the day to day operation and direction of staff and exhibits within the animal management section and contributes to the delivery of animal management services by assisting in the development, maintenance and co-ordination of the Parks wildlife displays, breeding programs, the care of captive native animals and the enhancement of visitor activities and education programs.

1x part Time at 0.48FTE

Special Conditions:

  • Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • Some out of hours may be required.
  • A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
  • The incumbent will be required to wear a uniform in accordance with departmental policy.
  • This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.

GSE6 $1,162.50 min - $1,176.50 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours. Weekly Paid.
