About the Role:

The Finance Officer works closely with the Management Accountant and Business Manager to provide quality financial and budgetary services to Branch, Unit and line managers within the National Parks and Wildlife Division, to assist the business to operate efficiently and maintain a robust internal control framework.  The role provides relevant financial analysis, reports and general finance advice to support client managers.

Contract: Contract up to 28 February 2025

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
  • Interchange between other Finance roles at the same classification when business needs arise, or when requested by senior Finance staff
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.

Remuneration: ASO4 - $76,561 min - $80,256 max p.a.
