About the Role:

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Manager, Probity and Government Business within the Office of the Chief Executive.

The Manager, Probity and Government Business is responsible for providing strategic oversight and managing the Parliament, Cabinet and correspondence functions within the Office of the Chief Executive. It is responsible for contributing at a high level to DEW’s management of risk and performance by providing strategic and expert advice on specific matters relating to organisational probity and governance.

The role will also lead the coordination of internal reviews and analysis on significant, sensitive, and complex matters identified both from within DEW and serious complaints referred to DEW, either directly by a complainant or by relevant agencies such as the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the Ombudsman. The role also undertakes policy projects as required to support DEW’s performance, strategies and objectives.

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.

Remuneration: ASO8 - $121,107 min - $125,679 max p.a.
