Are you
passionate about creating a cooler, greener, and wilder Adelaide?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Policy
Officer to lead multiple, complex, and impactful policy,
land use and strategic planning projects. In this pivotal role, you
will help drive initiatives that contribute to the sustainable
management and enhancement of Adelaide’s urban
landscapes.
What You'll
Do:
- Lead
the review and development of
the regional landscape plan and supporting documents, including
the annual business plan.
- Oversee and/or
collaborate on multiple projects that aim to transform Adelaide
into a cooler, greener, and wilder city, tackling challenges in
policy, land use, and landscape management.
- Foster
strong working relationships with a diverse
range of internal and external stakeholders,
driving collaboration and ensuring effective outcomes for
landscape management across the region.

and Experience:
- Policy
Development & Strategic Planning Expertise:
Skilled in crafting and executing innovative policy and
planning initiatives, with a proven ability to generate
impactful reports and provide strategic policy advice within
multifaceted and dynamic environments.
- Complex
Information Analysis & Strategic Translation:
Experienced in navigating and generating intricate scientific,
technical, legislative, and policy-related information,
condensing key insights and translating them into actionable,
forward-thinking policy initiatives and
recommendations.
- Stakeholder
Engagement & Consensus Building: Proficient at
facilitating both internal and external consultations,
skilfully navigating diverse viewpoints and competing
priorities to foster collaboration and design balanced,
solutions that align with organisational goals.
Special
Conditions:
- May be
required to participate in fire management or associated
duties.
- Located at Waymouth
Street.
- Out of
hours work may be required.
- Intrastate and
interstate travel may be required.
- Must
hold a current drivers licence.
Remuneration:
ASO7, $108,109 min - $116,864 max
p.a.
