Our Graduate
Engineers get to work on some of the biggest and most significant

What kind of work
can a Civil and Structural Engineering graduate be involved
in?
- Scope design,
prepare estimates, procure and supervise construction works,
such as jetty improvements and new viewing
platforms
- Assess
the conditions of roads and structures, and prepare or review
technical reports
- Site
inspection of various road, marine and infrastructure assets,
and produce asset inspection reports
- Assist
in the development of geo-spatial, tabular and dashboard asset
management tools
- Prepare and report
on heavy load assessments
- Project
procurement and contract management
- Design
review management
- Technical analysis and
reporting relating to geotechnical and pavement
disciplines
- Undertake traffic
investigations to develop recommendations for improved safety
and efficiency
- Undertake research,
analysis, interpretation of findings and prepare technical
documents and correspondence reports that support the
management of assigned traffic engineering programs, projects,
assets, systems and/or services
Salary
PO1 - starting at $71,375 per annum, plus 11.5%
superannuation
Eligibility for the
program requires applicants to have:
- A
minimum undergraduate qualification received no earlier than
2023.
- Australian citizenship,
permanent residency or a visa that allows them to work in
Australia.
- National
Police Check (or be willing to get one) and may also be
required to undergo other employment checks.

d) If you are not an
Australian citizen or permanent resident, you will also need to
provide a copy/proof of a valid appropriate visa along with an
extract of a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) report
from the Department of Home Affairs that can support your
application.
e) If you received your
Engineering degree from an international university, please upload
a copy of Engineers Australia’s statement of
recognition.
