Job Description:
The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is seeking an experienced
First Nations Partnerships Coordinator, who is responsible for
facilitating and building strong and positive relationships, and
works to build greater capacity within the Aboriginal community's
involvement in the planning and delivery of culturally sensitive
and appropriate projects and programs, within the region. The
successful applicant will provide advice to both Aboriginal
communities and employees of the Board; develop and implement
strategies, and source and secure external funding to deliver
projects, in partnership with Aboriginal communities. You'll work
with a great team, including a First Nations Partnerships Officer,
to deliver the projects and programs in line with the Board's
regional plans and priorities. This is a valuable role for the
Board, filled with complexity and sensitivities, and one that has a
deep sense of fulfilment and pride. You will be instrumental in
positive change and successful outcomes, while working with
wonderful people and their communities, in helping to keep our vast
landscape sustainable and greatly cared for, well into the future.
This is a backfill position, with a long-term contract to end June
2026 and the location of the position is open to negotiation,
however ideally Clare or Gawler is preferred.
