Our Graduate Engineers get to work on some of the biggest and most significant infrastructure projects undertaken in South Australia. What kind of work can a Systems Engineering graduate be involved in?

• Train and tram system safety assurance and safety case reviews
• Train and tram operational integration safety assurance reports and safety assurance statements writing (including the creation of Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) arguments) 
• Requirements management analysis and development, including: schemas, business requirements specifications (BRS), system requirements specifications (SRS), sub-system requirements specifications (SSRS), requirements allocation, analysis and traceability matrix’s (RAATMs)
• Functional system engineering standards and specifications review
• System architecture preparation and reviews  
• Project master specification documentation reviews and updates 
• Risk management workshops (including transfer of project risks and controls into the overall Tram and Train operational risk profiles) 
• Human factors workshops participation
• Lifecycle Gated Review participation from System Engineering / Assurance perspective (including Gated Review process development)
• Project management of change initiation, review, and plan development 
• Rail safety management systems development and review under rail safety national law 
• Reliability, availability and maintainability analyses

Salary  
PO1 - starting at $71,375 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation

Eligibility for the program requires applicants to have:

• A minimum undergraduate qualification received no earlier than 2023.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a visa that allows them to work in Australia.
• National Police Check (or be willing to get one) and may also be required to undergo other employment checks.

c) Academic transcript (official or most recent)

d) If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you will also need to provide a copy/proof of a valid appropriate visa along with an extract of a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) report from the Department of Home Affairs that can support your application.

e) If you received your Engineering degree from an international university, please upload a copy of Engineers Australia’s statement of recognition.
