About the Role RN-1 As a Nurse within the Mental Health Care Program, you'll grow from a novice to a proficient practitioner, delivering compassionate, comprehensive nursing care that supports consumer health and recovery. Guided by experienced mental health nurses, you'll take accountability for your practice and delegated tasks while providing individual case management, education, counselling, and group work. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations, you'll play a vital role in creating positive outcomes for those in your care, all within the supportive framework of SA Health's values and national mental health standards. RN-2 As a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), you'll provide compassionate, expert mental health nursing care across diverse settings, supporting consumers on their journey to recovery. You'll take pride in developing your practice from competent to proficient, while guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. This predominantly clinical role offers exciting opportunities to contribute to clinical teaching, research, and important projects that shape mental health services. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations, you'll deliver personalised care, education, and counselling that truly makes a difference to the wellbeing of those you support.
