The TAFE SA Lecturer role is part of our Centre of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care. We are seeking a candidate with current early childhood education and care sector experience and a background in developing or quality-assuring learning and assessment resources, whose expertise will be highly valued in supporting quality training outcomes.

The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.  Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

Got What It Takes?

  • Extensive sector/industry experience that provides an understanding of and commitment to the early childhood care and education sector, birth to eight years, within a variety of contexts including, childcare, pre-school, children’s centres, early learning centres etc.
  • Ability to facilitate groups in both the physical and virtual classroom
  • Qualifications and experience that represents the early childhood care and education sector, birth to eight years including Diploma, Bachelor and Master degree levels, as approved by ACECQA

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
