Remuneration: ASO7 ($112,163 - $121,246 per annum)

Role Details:

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Practice Development to join our Learning, Excellence and Innovation Academy Directorate to support the delivery, enhancement, and continuous improvement of workforce learning and development initiatives. In this senior-level role, you will play a key role in driving workforce capability by leading innovative programs and projects across all areas of child protection practice within DCP.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to strengthen staff capability and support ongoing professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including universities and training providers.
  • Develop competency-based learning programs and training resources.
  • Assess workplace learning needs and implement development initiatives.
  • Lead the facilitation, review, and evaluation of training programs and contemporary learning resources.

About You:

  • You can apply learning principles and facilitation techniques to support workforce capability.
  • You have experience in identifying emerging trends in learning methodologies that can be adapted to meet stakeholder needs.
  • You can apply knowledge and experience to plan, develop, implement and evaluate interventions aimed at meeting the needs of clients.
  • You can scope, design, plan, and manage projects within set budgets and timeframes.
  • You have experience working within child protection and/or out-of-home care services.
