Analyst to join our dynamic team shaping South
Australia’s future.
What You’ll
Drive
The Database
Analyst is responsible for coordinating and undertaking
the planning and delivery of technical database analysis programs
and services to design, implement and load test the technical
infrastructure that is required to run the various instances of
TAFE enterprise databases/datastores.
The Skills You
Bring
- Significant experience in coordinating and undertaking the
planning, delivery and review of large scale systems
deployment, patch application and enterprise system upgrades
that incorporate a high quality system and load testing regime
and structured release management.
- Significant knowledge of Database analysis and design
principles and best practices, technical infrastructure load
testing methodologies and tools and project management
methodologies.
- Proven high level capacity to research, analysis and
resolve complex database/datastore related problems utilising
appropriate methodologies, standards and documentation, read
and comprehend large volumes of complex technical material, and
prepare comprehensive documents written reports and
correspondence.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Oracle Database
Administration
- High degree of mastery of Unix/Linux Administration.
- Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent framework and relevant
government policy and TAFE SA procedures.
- Significant knowledge of contemporary ICT data, networks,
infrastructure, security and cloud system engineering and
administration, knowledge of related government policy, TAFE SA
procedures and the ITIL or equivalent framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, either
independently or within a team, to identify performance
outcomes, review operations, effectively determine priorities,
plan and organise work and use judgement and delegated
authority to perform complex technical tasks to achieve
results.
- Desirable - Knowledge of Microsoft SQL
Server is highly regarded
- Desirable - Experience with working in
Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) environment
- Desirable - Tertiary and/or
industry certification(s)/accreditation(s) related to
information technology.
What You Need to
Know
A valid Working with Children Check
(WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services
is required before employment.
