Overview:
- Responsible for supporting health system redesign by coordinating the design and development of a state-wide Invitro Fertilisation (IVF) Rebate Scheme that enables eligible patients more accessible and more affordable in-scope IVF services.
- Define scope, stakeholder engagement, system design, implementation and procurement processes for the Scheme.
- Lead the development of guidelines, processes, funding criteria and ongoing monitoring of the Scheme.
- Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the public and private sector (including clinical leads) during the establishment of the program, ensuring seamless integration with public services, private services, clinicians and consumers.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to support decision making and recommendations
- Prepare Project Plans, Reports, Agenda papers, Ministerial/Parliamentary/Government business briefing papers and other related information as required by SA Health.
- Contribute to a range of planning and commissioning projects and initiatives across the Planning and Commissioning branch.

Criminal History Screening Requirement.
- A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Special Conditions
- An appropriate tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in a health or related discipline.
- Experience in managing projects and undertaking significant consultation using a co-design approach.
- Ability to lead projects at a strategic level under broad guidelines and minimal direction, working within limited timeframes and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and to develop quality relationships that will encourage a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.
- High level of ability to analyse and synthesise data and use this to inform an evidence-based approach to priority setting and decision making.
