The opportunity now exists for an outstanding executive leader to join PIRSA as Executive Director, Industry and Regional Development. This pivotal role provides senior leadership across industry and regional development, and major government initiatives that shape the future of South Australia’s primary industries and regional communities.

As a key member of the PIRSA Executive, the Executive Director leads the development and delivery of integrated strategies, policy, programs and investments that strengthen industry capability, support regional development and enhance economic productivity. The role also provides leadership in strategic communications and engagement, ensuring clarity, confidence and alignment across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and respected executive with a strong track record in complex policy, major program delivery and stakeholder engagement across all levels of government, industry or related sectors. You will bring exceptional leadership capability, political acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
