The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Program Delivery Officer to be part of our Major Programs and Regions Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

You’ll coordinate program activities, support project outcomes, and keep services running efficiently, especially during periods of high demand. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Program Delivery Officer, you’ll help drive key programs while working with stakeholders across government and industry.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate the PIRSA Recovery and Algal Bloom Hotlines
  • Drive program outcomes through procurement, contracting and reporting
  • Support the development of projects, policy and briefings
  • Build and maintain effective tracking and reporting systems
  • Deliver clear communications and strong stakeholder engagement
  • Tackle issues with sound analysis and problem-solving
  • You’ll ensure hotline services provide timely, reliable support during critical periods.

Special Conditions

  • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
  • Full time opportunity up to October 2028

Requirements

  • Possession of a current driver’s licence and willingness to drive.
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
  • Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations when applying for a role.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.

 Remuneration

ASO5 - $89,007 min - $98,991 max per annum, plus superannuation
