Overview

Do you thrive on building community connections and supporting volunteers? We're looking for a motivated and well-organised Volunteer Project Officer to provide maternity leave backfill across our volunteer programs within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Support YNLHN sites to coordinate recruitment, induction and engagement of volunteers
  • Promote volunteer recognition, wellbeing, and retention
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance records and reporting
  • Collaborate with site leaders to ensure best-practice volunteer management
  • Contribute to community engagement and improvement projects

You'll be part of the People & Culture team and play a key role in enabling meaningful contributions from volunteers across our health services.

About You

You will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and project coordination skills
  • Experience working with volunteers or community programs
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability
  • Knowledge of compliance and governance in volunteer services
  • A passion for community service and inclusive practice

Relevant tertiary qualifications in community development, volunteer management or similar will be highly regarded.
