About the Opportunity The Serious and Complex Crime Team has the ongoing conduct of Operation Ironside prosecutions arising out of the covert police investigation into the use of the ANOM application. These prosecutions primarily involve large-scale drug and organised crime offending and the conduct of large files with multiple accused and multiple charges. The work of the team includes other serious and complex prosecutions within the Office, involving multiple accused/ multiple complainants, files with voluminous briefs of evidence and a high level of complexity, and matters of particular sensitivity.

About the Business The ODPP is an office of approximately 200 staff, comprising both legal and administrative functions. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was established through the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, 1991 to provide an effective, fair and independent criminal prosecution service for the people of South Australia. The Office is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Special Conditions for Employment Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
