Join our Ceduna team as
a Support Worker and help create positive
outcomes for children, young people and families. This role
combines client support, community engagement and administrative
coordination, with opportunities to strengthen family connections,
facilitate access to programs, and support Social Workers in
delivering child-focused care across the community.
In this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively with Social Workers and other
stakeholders to ensure high-quality client service
- Assess client needs and facilitate access to appropriate
services
- Handle client enquiries with sensitivity and
professionalism, maintaining positive interactions while
navigating complex matters
- Provide administrative support across a range of business
functions
- Support assessments and contribute to the development and
review of family care plans.
About You:
- You have high-level interpersonal skills with the ability
to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and
in writing
- You can work through challenging situations using
negotiation, communication and a solutions-focused
approach
- You have experience using initiative and judgement to
achieve effective outcomes
- You bring an understanding of child development, parenting
and a range of social and cultural factors affecting
families.
