About the Role

Join our Surgical Programs team as a Ward Clerk, where you’ll be the welcoming face and organisational backbone of the ward. You’ll support patient flow, bed management and daily ward admin, working closely with clinical teams to keep care running smoothly and compassionately.

• Provide front desk reception and clerical support
• Coordinate ward admin to support patient flow and bed use
• Liaise with nurses, doctors and hospital departments
• Engage kindly with patients, families and visitors
• Maintain accurate records and support daily ward needs

About You

You bring a calm, organised approach and enjoy supporting patients and clinical teams. Your people skills, attention to detail and ability to juggle priorities help the ward run smoothly, even on busy days.

• Communicate clearly with patients, families and care teams
• Manage varied admin tasks while meeting deadlines
• Work confidently alone and contribute positively to team decisions
• Use Microsoft Office and adapt quickly to new systems
• Handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
