WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

The Telehealth Video Conferencing Specialist plays a key role in delivering and enhancing South Australia's Digital Telehealth Network (DTN), ensuring high-quality, accessible, and efficient telehealth services across SA Health. The position provides expert strategic and operational advice, working closely with stakeholders, clinicians, and vendors to translate business needs into effective telehealth solutions. The role also contributes to the ongoing development of telehealth capability, supporting innovation, system integration, and initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and service efficiency. 

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the DTN, the specialist oversees service operations, supports implementation and maintenance, and ensures strong stakeholder engagement across the network. This includes coordinating training, managing vendor performance, resolving operational issues, and promoting the effective use of telehealth technologies. The role is instrumental in driving utilisation of the DTN, delivering value to patients and health services, and fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement across South Australia's healthcare system.

 HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Provide expert advice and operational support to ensure the effective delivery and growth of South Australia's Digital Telehealth Network across SA Health. 
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the telehealth video conferencing network, including service coordination, issue resolution, and system performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, stakeholders, and vendors to implement, maintain, and continuously improve telehealth services and digital health solutions>
  • Lead and support training, onboarding, and capability development to ensure effective and consistent use of telehealth technologies across the state.
  • Monitor service performance, manage vendor relationships, and drive improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and patient care outcomes.
