About the Role
As Nursing Director, you'll lead a high performing clinical division with a strong focus on safe, high quality care and workforce excellence. You'll shape strategy, drive service improvement, build strong partnerships and create a positive team culture. This role offers autonomy, influence and the chance to make a lasting impact across clinical services.
Duties of the role
• Lead strategic and operational direction across the division
• Drive safe, high quality and cost effective care
• Build strong, collaborative multidisciplinary teams
• Guide workforce performance, capability and culture
• Strengthen governance, compliance and clinical standards
• Create systems that support continuous improvement
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support senior nursing leaders
• Manage resources, budgets and service priorities
• Foster healthy, productive work environments
About You
You're a confident and collaborative nursing leader who brings strategic insight, sound judgement and a passion for high quality care. You thrive in complex environments, lead teams through change and build strong relationships across healthcare settings.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven leadership in complex healthcare services
• Strong skill in people, resource and change leadership
• Experience lead quality and service improvement
• Sound knowledge of healthcare standards and legislation
