THE IMPACT YOU WILL DRIVE AT THE SACE BOARD

As the Senior Manager, ICT, you will provide strategic leadership of the organisation’s technology function, ensuring ICT services, systems, and capabilities enable and enhance the delivery of the SACE Board’s core business. Reporting to the Executive Director, People and Performance, you will drive innovation, strengthen service delivery, and build strong partnerships with business leaders to align technology with organisational priorities and outcomes.

You will lead the ICT team using a business partnering approach, ensuring secure, reliable, and future-focused technology services, while strengthening governance, cybersecurity, and digital capability across the organisation.

You will also play a key role in advancing the SACE Board’s digital maturity, leveraging technology, data, and modern ICT practices to improve operational efficiency, support informed decision-making, and deliver high-value services to internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership experience in ICT, delivering technology services and solutions in complex organisational environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, and successfully deliver technology and organisational change initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and relevant legislation, standards, and best practice.
  • Experience developing and implementing ICT strategies, architectures, and service delivery frameworks aligned to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels to align technology with organisational priorities.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capability, with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement through technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Tertiary qualifications in Information Communications Technology, or related field.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Some out-of-hours work and intrastate travel may be required.
  • Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check in accordance with SACE Board policy.
  • The role is governed under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.

Remuneration 

SS/SM2 classification level per annum plus superannuation. A salary package is available for negotiation with the successful candidate.

This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
