About the role

The Senior Information Analyst delivers specialised data analysis and reporting for the Child and Family Health Service, ensuring accurate, timely information management reporting services. The Senior Information Analyst leads information projects, maintains data integrity, and contributes to performance improvement and long-term reporting strategies. Please look to address the essential minimum requirements highlighted in the attached Role Descriptor within a 2 page cover letter.

Key duties of the role

  • Provide technical consultancy, advice and support to the development and implementation of data capture and reporting applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather application enhancement business requirements.
  • Undertake and monitor testing activities to ensure the delivery of agreed requirements and workflow processes.
  • Formulate business requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Provide analysis of relevant demographic and population health data.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the collation, statistical analysis and presentation of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Proven experience in the use and implementation of web-based information reporting systems.
  • Experience in using Power BI.
  • Sound knowledge of data collection, information analysis and evaluation methodologies and data presentation techniques.
  • Sound analytical, statistical, research, problem solving and IT skills.
