Port Augusta Technical College will be a visionary institution
that aims to revolutionize technical education in South Australia.
The State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that will
set the standard for excellence in their design, learning
environment and delivery of skills-based training for
school-enrolled students.
Co-located with Port Augusta Secondary School, Port Augusta
Technical College runs a part time enrolment model for secondary
school students within the region to access whilst maintaining
their enrolment in their current school. Port Augusta Technical
College has accommodation facilities on site and offer four
industry training programs for careers in civil, resources and
infrastructure, health and social support, hospitality and tourism,
and multi-trades (for careers such as plumbers, builders,
electricians, and boilermakers).
We are searching for anIndustry Training Parhway Coordintor to join
our dynamic team and drive the success of this transformative
initiative.
The Industry Training Pathway Coordinator works under limited
direction to support students to access industry experiences and
pathway opportunities offered by the Port Augusta Technical
College. Coordinating and running industry immersion programs, work
experience placements, and the Employability Skills Program
(developed by SPC and leadership staff at the technical college).
Ensuring students are in the right place at the right time,
maintains strong employer relationships, and provides coaching to
help students build readiness for VET, apprenticeships,
traineeships and employment.
