About the Role

The Project Manager, Professional Learning leads a team to design, coordinate and deliver professional learning programs that support educators to strengthen their practice and contribute to a connected qualification and thriving students.

Working closely with internal project teams, program managers, schools and external partners, this role oversees the development, delivery and evaluation of professional learning initiatives. The role ensures programs are practical, impactful and responsive to the needs of educators, while using insights and feedback to continuously improve professional learning and development services.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role you will lead and coordinate professional learning initiatives that enable educators to transform practice and contribute to connected qualifications and thriving students.

  • Lead and support a high-performing team to design, coordinate and deliver impactful professional learning programs that support educators and contributes to the development of thriving students.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate professional learning initiatives aligned with organisational priorities, ensuring programs are practical, high quality and responsive to the needs of educators.
  • Build internal capability in professional learning, supporting staff to design, facilitate and evaluate learning programs that strengthen educator practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, schools and education stakeholders to support the successful delivery of professional learning initiatives.
  • Oversee the effective planning and delivery of professional learning services, ensuring activities align with organisational priorities, governance requirements and continuous improvement practices.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Education, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex projects or processes to successful completion, with a focus on value and impact.
  • Proven experience planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating professional learning initiatives or similar education programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems-thinking to solve complex problems, considering multiple perspectives and organisational interdependencies.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, schools, education stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering outcomes in a changing environment.

Remuneration

ASO8 - $121,107 - $125,679 per annum plus superannuation.

This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
