Are you looking to start or develop your career in customer service within the South Australian Public Sector? We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join Occupational Licensing as an ASO2 Client Services Officer.

This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of licensing and regulatory services that support public safety and professional standards across South Australia.

As a Client Services Officer in Occupational Licensing, you will play an important role in delivering friendly, professional and reliable service to members of the public, licence holders and industry stakeholders. Acting as a key point of contact, you will help people navigate licensing processes while ensuring enquiries and applications are handled accurately and efficiently.

This role offers variety, strong team support and the opportunity to build valuable experience within a respected public sector environment, that makes a real difference to the South Australian community. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality customer service via phone, email and in person.
  • Respond to enquiries related to occupational licences, registrations and applications.
  • Process applications, payments, renewals and client requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter data into internal systems.
  • Identify issues and escalate complex matters in line with procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet service standards and timeframes.
  • Operate in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and confidentiality requirements.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.

  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • May be required to work in any area of Consumer and Business Services as determined by business needs
