About the Role
Join our Infection Prevention Control Unit and help shape safer care across the organisation. In this senior clinical role, you'll lead infection prevention strategies, build strong compliance systems, guide best practice and support teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for patients and communities.
• Lead infection prevention and control programs across clinical areas
• Provide expert advice on risks, standards and best practice care
• Review policies, systems and procedures to support compliance
• Drive audit, surveillance and benchmarking activities
• Mentor clinicians and support quality improvement across teams
About You
You're a confident clinical leader with strong infection prevention expertise and a passion for safe, high-quality care. You build trusted relationships, thrive in complex environments and bring the skills to lead change, influence practice and support positive outcomes across the organisation.
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Proven Infection Prevention Control experience in complex healthcare settings
• Lead audit, surveillance and quality improvement work
• Build strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams
• Use data and reporting to guide safe clinical practice
