Please note that this position is multi-classified as either an Administrative Services Officer Level 8 (ASO8), Allied Health Professional Level 4 (AHP4) or Registered Nurse/Midwife Level 4 (RN/M4). Appointment will be made at the appropriate classification based on the successful applicant's qualifications, registration and professional background.
About the Role
The Principal Service Design Manager provides strategic leadership to drive service design, transformation and continuous improvement across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. Reporting to the Executive Director - Operations, this role will play a pivotal role in delivering the Limestone Coast Local Health Network's Clinical Services Plan, leading system-wide reform initiatives that improve service delivery, organisational performance and consumer outcomes. Working collaboratively with Executive leaders and key stakeholders, you will influence strategic decision-making and help shape the future delivery of health services across the region.
About You
You are an experienced strategic leader with a proven ability to influence organisational change, lead complex service redesign initiatives and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary environments. You bring exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, together with the ability to provide high-level advice that shapes organisational strategy.
To succeed in the Principal Service Design Manager role, you will:
- Demonstrate extensive experience leading strategic service redesign, transformation or organisational improvement initiatives.
- Have highly developed leadership, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills within a complex organisation.
- Possess proven experience managing large-scale programs or projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and, where applicable, current professional registration appropriate to the appointed classification.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high-level strategic advice to executive leadership and contribute to organisational planning and reform.

The Operations Directorate provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network, ensuring safe, effective and sustainable health services for our communities. The directorate works collaboratively across clinical and corporate portfolios to lead service planning, transformation, performance improvement and the delivery of strategic priorities that enhance healthcare outcomes across the region.

Conditions of Employment
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required.
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
- For the AHP4 classification: Appointment is subject to meeting the LCLHN Credentialling requirements for Allied Health and Scientific Health Professionals.
- Immunisation Risk for this position is Category B.
- SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
