WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mental Health Nursing Leader to provide clinical, operational and professional leadership within a contemporary mental health service. The successful candidate will utilise advanced clinical expertise and evidence-based practice to guide service delivery, support complex clinical decision-making, and drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance consumer outcomes and recovery-focused care. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, the role is responsible for integrating local service coordination with organisational priorities, ensuring effective risk management, workforce planning, resource utilisation, and compliance with relevant policies, standards and legislative requirements. This position requires a strong commitment to professional leadership, education, and continuous improvement within mental health services. The successful applicant will mentor and develop staff, facilitate learning and clinical supervision opportunities, support research and service evaluation activities, and lead the implementation of best-practice mental health care. With outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you will act as a trusted advisor, role model and change leader, fostering a safe, positive and high-performing work environment while promoting innovation, evidence-based practice, and excellence in consumer-centred mental health care.
