Overview:
- The Senior Transition and Contract Manager is accountable for developing/improving, managing and monitoring contract transition arrangements including advising, project management, stakeholder management and general engagement.
- The Senior Contract Manager will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement processes that facilitate meeting the State's contractual obligations and responsibilities and monitoring of suppliers meeting their obligations and responsibilities under a range of SA Health contracts. This will provide support for the contract administration framework including records management and formal correspondence with suppliers.
- The Senior Transition and Contract Manager is accountable for developing/improving, managing and monitoring contract management framework systems including records management and communications management systems.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Desirable Characteristics
- Experience in establishing and managing contract management and records management systems such as Objective and Affinitext
- Experience in providing high level administrative and project support including managing sensitive, complex and urgent material within strict time-frames and in accordance with required outcomes.
- Knowledge of SA government contract management including management of a PPP contract.
- Understanding of health sector services and activities.
- Knowledge of contemporary contract management principles and methodologies.
