About the Role: As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Infection Control, you will provide nursing services across a variety of healthcare settings, building on your experience to develop from a competent to a proficient practitioner. You will support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in leading nursing staff within the ward/unit/service, contributing to safe and effective care delivery. In this role, you will accept accountability for your own practice, delegated activities, and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. You will undertake a portfolio focused on infection control, working collaboratively to promote continuity and consistency of care, support practice changes, and assist with key service management functions including staffing, rostering and resource planning.
