Role Details:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Finance and Corporate Services Directorate in Adelaide. You will play a key role in delivering procurement advice and support, developing and monitoring procurement plans aligned with agency strategies, and guiding end-to-end procurement processes.

In this role, you will be:

  • Delivering expert procurement advice to support agency decision-making.
  • Managing quality assurance across agency procurement activities and services.
  • Developing strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of quality services.
  • Contributing to procurement plans, strategies, business cases, and policies that support agency procurement requirements.

About You:

  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • You are able to work independently and collaboratively while prioritising competing tasks to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • You are experienced in supporting procurement and contract development, including acquisition planning and vendor management.
  • You have knowledge of government legislation, acquisition planning, tender evaluation, contract management and dispute resolution.
