About the Role:

Join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) and make a real difference in the lives of patients across Adelaide's northern communities. We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis until 30 June 2027.

Based in Adelaide Metro Northern, you will work within our established speech pathology service, providing clinical excellence while mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development. This role offers the perfect balance of clinical practice and professional leadership in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive speech pathology assessment and treatment services
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior team members
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
  • Support service planning and development activities

To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.

In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
