Overview Join the Yorke and Northern LHN CenSTaR Assistant in Nursing Candidate Pool, and contribute to caring for residents and patients across various Yorke and Northern Local Health Network facilities. In the role of Assistant in Nursing, you'll provide vital support to Enrolled and Registered Nurses in administering general care to residents/clients. This involves performing essential nursing tasks typically handled by Enrolled or Registered Nurses, such as assisting with personal care for patients and handling basic technical duties like preparing for nursing procedures, sanitizing equipment, and managing local inventory levels. Your responsibilities will also encompass maintaining a safe environment, both physically and culturally, for both patients and staff. Adherence to established guidelines, protocols, and standards set forth by the organization is paramount. While working under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, your tasks may also be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse within a collaborative care team setting.
