Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary professionals united by a common goal: improving health outcomes for our community. Based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, we also deliver care through regular outreach clinics in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Marree, and Leigh Creek. We provide a wide range of centre-based, in-home, and community-based services for people of all ages, tailoring care to meet individual needs. About the Role:

As the Team Leader - Rehabilitation and Restorative Care (RN/M3 or AHP3), you will deliver high-quality clinical services while providing professional and operational leadership within the service. As an experienced and highly competent clinician, you will contribute to improving the quality, safety and community needs-driven distribution of services across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with allied health staff, managers and other stakeholders to support model of care and workforce development initiatives. You will also provide support to Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Nursing Directors across areas such as staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, patient flow, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes, and information systems management. You will accept accountability for the outcomes of management practices within your portfolio while contributing to a safe and positive work culture that supports strong patient and client outcomes.

About You:

RN/M3

• You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• You must be a registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
• You must demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• You must demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles
• You must demonstrated experience in managing projects

AHP3

• You must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession.
• You must apply specialist expertise to deliver complex clinical and consultancy services.
• You must work with professional independence and advanced clinical competence.
• You must use knowledge of strategic directions, service delivery and workforce issues to guide practice.
• You must provide advice to management on service development and practice improvements.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
