The KidSafe Connect Program (KSC) is seeking
a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to play a
crucial role in driving the delivery of trusted, secure, and
analytics-ready data within a cloud-native platform. Working
closely with the KSC Data Lead, you will shape and deliver
cloud-based data solutions that provide trusted, high-quality
insights, enabling data-driven decision-making, robust longitudinal
analysis, and impactful cross-agency reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Provide cloud data engineering leadership to deliver
trusted, analytics-ready data assets that meet government
security and privacy requirements.
- Lead analytical validation, reconciliation and assurance
across data migration phases to certify the accuracy and
integrity of cloud‑hosted datasets.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with a diverse
range of stakeholders to support coordinated data activities
and service reform.
- Provide governance assurance and compliance oversight for
data initiatives, ensuring data integrity and alignment with
departmental standards.
- Support data literacy across the program by translating
complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for
stakeholders.
About You:
- You will bring senior experience designing and delivering
cloud‑based modern data and analytics platforms in complex,
regulated environments.
- You are experienced in providing data migration and
analytics assurance, including reconciliation, validation and
certification of data.
- You have expertise in analytics engineering, including
cloud data modelling, transformation, semantic layers, and
metrics definitions.
- You can explain complex technical issues to non-technical
audiences, supported by strong stakeholder engagement and
communication skills.
- You have strong knowledge of interagency data sharing
frameworks, privacy legislation, and information security
standards.
