Service: Allied and Community Health Service Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role: As the Nurse Consultant - Palliative Care, you will bring advanced clinical knowledge, leadership and independent decision-making to deliver exceptional care for patients with complex palliative needs. Practising at an expert level, you will work both autonomously and collaboratively, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care that supports patients, families and the broader multidisciplinary team. You will provide specialist clinical guidance, lead improvements in practice, and uphold accountability for your clinical decisions, professional advice and delegated care. With an expanded scope of practice endorsed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, this role offers the opportunity to influence service development and drive best-practice palliative care across the Local Health Network.
