About the role
Financial and administrative support to WCHN, including liaison with Shared Services SA, provision of support for Accounts Payable/Receivable functions, SA Health inter-business transactions, Special Purpose Funds, and purchase card activities.
Key duties of the role
- Support the delivery of a customer focused liaison role for management, staff and the public in relation to assigned tasks
- Assist to ensure monthly financial tasks are completed within expected timeframes
- The effective day to day operation of the Finance Department
- Contribute to a team environment, which promotes positivity, learning and development, safety and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity and innovation in a constructive way
Skills and Experience
- A completed degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to deal with both internal and external clients
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the GST taxation requirements
