Role Details:
We are seeking a High Risk Infant
Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in
our Woodville South office.
The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively on complex
and sensitive cases, while building strong relationships with all
stakeholders. This rewarding role will see you provide specialist
intervention, support services or referrals for high risk infants
and their families.
This is a single vacancy offered under a dual
classification, meaning it may be filled by either a
qualified Senior Social Worker (AHP2)
or Senior Professional Officer (PO2) depending on the
qualifications and suitability of the successful applicant.
In this role, you will:
- Undertake specialist preliminary assessments of unborn
child concerns in the context of DCP Infant at Risk Policy,
Procedures and Practice Standards.
- Foster good working relationships, provide consultation,
advice and training to DCP staff and professionals in relevant
external organisations.
- Provide appropriate services or referrals for the needs and
circumstances of high risk and unborn infants, their families
and carers.
- Utilise a case management model to build upon family
strengths and reduce adversity.
About You:

Salary:
AHP2 ($91,785 - $106,330 per annum) + 12%
superannuation.
- An additional 4% Child Protection Allowance on top of your
annual salary.
- Professional Development Allowance, entitlement to claim
reimbursement of eligible professional development
expenses.
- Qualification Allowance may apply if you hold an additional
qualification relevant to the role.
PO2 ($91,565 - $106,074 per annum)
+ 12% superannuation.
- Additional Child Protection Allowance.
