Role details

The Senior Business Officer supports organisational strategy by leading the development, coordination, and monitoring of strategic and business planning processes. The role also strengthens organisational capability through effective management and reporting of key governance frameworks, including risk, audit, business continuity, and information management. The position supports strategic and operational projects, ensuring strong planning, implementation, aligned with ESB priorities and legislative requirements.

About you

You will possess well-developed coordination skills, delivering strategic and business planning processes, analysing organisational priorities, and producing planning documents and performance reports. With a strong anayltical and research capability you will analyse and interpret complex information and make recommendations. You will demonstrate experience in planning, delivering and monitoring projects, with a commitment to identifyingand implementing business improvements that enhance organisational performance and efficiency.

Special conditions

  • Full-time term vacancy offered on a 24-month contract.
  • The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate prior to being employed and regularly as required.
