About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping the future of health service delivery at the New Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH). As part of the New WCH Project, you will:
- Provide lead oversight over the operational readiness and commissioning portfolio within the Clinical and Operations stream
- Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership across health service and facility planning, service design and transformation
- Work closely with senior leaders, clinicians, consumers and community stakeholders to deliver innovative, evidence-based service models
- Lead initiatives that enhance safety, quality, equity of access and efficiency across services
- Oversee governance, performance monitoring and resource management to support operational readiness
- Champion interdisciplinary collaboration, continuous improvement and a high-performing, values-driven culture
- Translate strategy into practice to influence system-wide outcomes and deliver lasting benefits for women, children and families across South Australia

About You
You are a strategic, influential leader with the capability to drive outcomes in complex, large-scale environments. You will bring:
- Proven ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams through complexity, uncertainty and rapid change
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability, with the confidence to negotiate, manage conflict and influence at a senior level
- Deep knowledge of contemporary management practices, including strategic planning, quality management, continuous improvement and risk management
- Demonstrated experience in health infrastructure and facility planning, ideally within major capital or system transformation projects such as the New WCH
- A strong understanding of the political, social and economic factors shaping health service planning, funding and delivery
- The ability to navigate complex governance environments to drive change, ensure safety and deliver high-performance outcomes in fast-paced settings
