• Casual contracts until April 2026 - multiple casual contracts available

As a Direct Care Worker working on a casual basis, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.  Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort, well-being, and dignity of those in our care.  

Duties may include:

• Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
• Supporting mobility and dexterity
• Aiding with transfers and lifting using aids
• Communicating and assisting with glasses and hearing aids
• Distributing clean laundry and attire
• Cleaning equipment, utensils, and personal items
• Providing transportation for clients
• Assisting clients with special needs
• Supporting self-administration of medication
• Assisting with routine treatments and procedures

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams
• Strong communication abilities, adept at relating to individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Competence in performing general tasks under supervision
• Limited experience with elderly, frail, or disabled individuals in community/hospital settings? No problem! We'll provide on-the-job training to help you succeed.
