We are seeking applications for Taxation, Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer roles across teams within Shared Services SA. The roles may be located at Adelaide CBD or Port Adelaide depending on the business function.

Remuneration: ASO2 ($58,709 - $63,154 p.a.) + 12% Superannuation

About the Role

The Payroll, Taxation, Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable Officer roles contribute to the accurate and timely support of services within Shared Services SA teams.

Depending on the business function where you’re placed, your role may include tasks such as:

  • Managing financial transactions: Work with vendors, creditors, overdue accounts, and employee-related fines, update records and maintain system entries.
  • Handling high-volume of data and queries: Respond to queries, provide resolutions, and offer guidance.
  • Working across multiple systems, including Microsoft Office and financial platforms.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance: Process tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Contributing to process improvement: Assist in updating procedures and maintaining accurate work instructions.

Desirable: Experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable, or financial services is great—but not essential. If you’re eager to learn, we’ll support you every step of the way.

About our recruitment process:

  • If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an Assessment Centre, where you will participate in a behavioural interview and various skills tests.
  • Candidates who successfully complete the Assessment Centre process (including reference and screening checks) are recommended to the pool and will remain in the pool for up to 12 months
  • As positions become available, employment offers will be made to the recommended candidates.

Special Conditions:

  • The applicant must obtain a successful employment screening initiated by the Department and all costs will be covered by us.
  • All applicants must hold current Australian work eligibility (at least 12 months validity if you are on a Visa).
