Your Time to Shine

The Apprentice Liaison Team Leader leads a team that manages a caseload of apprentices and employers, by supporting, guiding and connecting apprentices with support services throughout their training. The Apprentice Liaison Team Leader is responsible for the delivery of consistent, high – quality services, career pathway advice and retention outcomes to Group Training Organisations, Apprentice Connect Australia providers, the SA Skills Commission and educators.

What You’ll Bring

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective networks, provide sound, well-formulated written and verbal advice, reports and briefings to senior management and communicate and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience leading a team, with a focus on sustaining and improving team engagement and standardising processes to ensure consistency.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and coordination of a student/case management approach including providing contextualised and tailored advice to internal and external customers within the Australian Apprenticeship and/or Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
