Role Details:
Our Hindmarsh office is seeking a Social
Worker or Case Manager to
join their dynamic team in guiding families toward safe
reunification and helping children in care achieve stability,
security, and the opportunity to thrive. You will play a key role
in safeguarding children by delivering targeted interventions and
providing effective case management to support children and their
families.
This is a single vacancy offered under a dual
classification, meaning it may be filled by either a
qualified Social Worker or
Professional Officer depending on the
qualifications and suitability of the successful applicant.
Essential Qualification:
- AHP (Allied Health Professional)
positions require applicants to hold
a Social Work qualification and be
eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of
Social Workers (AASW).
- PO (Professional Officer)
positions require relevant qualifications
in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human
Services, Health or other related fields.
In this role, you will:
- Respond to notifications of child abuse and outcomes of
investigations.
- Contribute to the protection of children and young
people.
- Provide written and verbal reports that are concise and
informative.
- Enable and support children and young people to participate
in various programmes.
- Assist children and young people in out of home care, to
reunite with their families.
About You:
- You understand the context of child development, parenting
capacity and family environmental factors.
- You have the ability to identify and respond to the needs
for the wellbeing and development of children and young
people.
- You are able to maintain strong relationships with a
diverse range of stakeholders.
- You understand the factors that contribute to child
abuse.
Salary:
AHP1 ($71,217 - $86,938 per annum) + 12%
superannuation.
- An additional 4% Child Protection Allowance on top of your
annual salary.
- Qualification Allowance may apply if you hold an additional
qualification relevant to the role.
PO1 ($68,478 - $83,594 per annum) +12%
superannuation.
- Additional Child Protection Allowance.
